Our funders believe in our vision of a Scotland where every person’s right to live in a healthy environment is fully realised.
We are very grateful to the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust for an unrestricted grant over three years which made the creation of ERCS possible. Thanks also to Scottish Environment LINK, several of its member organisations and private donations which contributed towards core costs in our first year.
Our work continues to consolidate and grow, thanks to the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and Polden Puckham Charitable Foundation who have also awarded us grants over three years from 2021 towards core costs and our advocacy programme.
From October 2021 our work is further supported by the Scottish Government’s Equality and Human Rights Fund administered by Inspiring Scotland. We will use this grant to increase awareness and participation of equality groups on the human right to a healthy environment.
We have most recently been awarded funding from the Baring Foundation to scale up our activities to advance the human right to a healthy environment and reduce barriers to accessing justice.
