Our funders believe in our vision of a Scotland where every person’s right to a healthy environment is respected, protected and fulfilled.
We are very grateful to the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust for an unrestricted grant which made the creation of ERCS possible in 2020, and for their continued support. Thanks also to Scottish Environment LINK, several of its member organisations and private donations which contributed towards core costs in our first year.
Our work continues to consolidate and grow, thanks to the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and Polden Puckham Charitable Foundation who have also awarded us grants over three years from 2021 towards core costs and our advocacy programme.
From October 2021 our work is further supported by the Scottish Government’s Equality and Human Rights Fund administered by Inspiring Scotland. We will use this grant to increase awareness and participation of equality groups on the human right to a healthy environment.
In 2022, we were awarded funding from the Baring Foundation and the William Grant Foundation to scale up our activities as Scotland’s only legal hub for environment justice.
To all our funders and individual donors – thank you!
