We want to increase awareness and confidence in exercising our environmental rights. We offer free advice to individuals, community groups and organisations on environmental and related planning law.
Please contact us by using the enquiry form below. This could be if you are seeking specific advice on an environmental issue, for example a worrying planning application or loss of greenspace in your neighbourhood. It could also be if you have a general question about environmental or related planning law, such as your rights to environmental information.
Environmental law includes law relating to land-use planning, climate change, pollution control, environmental health, the conservation of biodiversity, and any other field (e.g. cultural heritage, transport and energy) to the extent that it impacts on the natural environment in Scotland.
We will acknowledge your enquiry with an email within 3 working days. We may then arrange a telephone call to gain further information and agree next steps with you. Our Advice Terms of Service provide more detail.
If you have any difficulty in completing the enquiry form below, please telephone us either on 0131 358 0038 or on our freephone number 0800 861 1738. BSL users can contact us via an online BSL/English interpreter.
