This photo, A beautiful warning? Arran from Culzean Castle, has been kindly shared with us by our member Ruth Thomas. We’re currently featuring it as our header image for our Human right to a health environment webpage. The unusual and beautiful sea colour is caused by growth of coccolithophores, a microscopic marine algae, which marine biologists say reflects soaring CO2 levels.
