If you live in Scotland why not become a member?
We are a free membership organisation, accountable to the members that support us.
Joining the Environmental Rights Centre for Scotland (ERCS) is free for individuals aged 16 or over. We only ask that you agree with our vision of a Scotland where every person’s right to live in a healthy environment is fully realised, and our charitable purposes, which are reflected in our mission and values.
Having your support is critical to what we do. By becoming a member, we can demonstrate the breadth and depth of concern for our environment and the need to strengthen environmental rights. This amplifies our voice to funders, partners and government agencies and helps us to advocate for policy and law reform.
Members have the right to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and elect the Board of Trustees who have overall control of our work.
If you would like to find out more about becoming a member you can always contact us. You can also read our Constitution, which is our governing document that sets out our charitable purposes and the appointment and powers of members and trustees.
