ERCS is seeking to recruit a Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees and drive forward our vision of a Scotland where every person’s right to live in a healthy environment is fully realised.
The Board of Trustees has collective responsibility for the overall governance of ERCS, the determination of ERCS’s strategy, business plan and organisational policy. The day-to-day management and operational work of the organisation is delegated to the chief officer and her small team.
The specific role of the Treasurer is to provide financial oversight and guidance to the Board. You will have knowledge and experience of financial accounts and the capacity to spend additional time on detailed finance matters.
The time commitment is 3 -5 hours every month. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone interested in environmental issues to lend their expertise and learn more about our sector.
There is no remuneration; however, all necessary travel and out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
If you feel you have the passion, experience and time to commit, please contact Shivali Fifield, Chief Officer at sfifield@ercs.scot or on 07395 652434 for an informal discussion.
